When conventional tools could not process sapphire, quartz glass or silicon in the past, people thought if there was a tool that could cut advanced materials easily.
This became the driving force for us to develop advanced processing tools that could cut, grind and polish. New materials need new tools in order to shorten the processing time and reduce material loss.

About Ceramic Sintering Technology

  • Sintering controlled by the addition of sintering aids.
  • Sintering can be complete by the eutectic reaction of primary and auxiliary materials. Does not produce dust.

Application Examples

The Use of Vacuum Chuck

Conventional vacuum chuck held workpiece with the grooves and holes made on aluminum and stainless steel. However, these holes deformed the workpiece and could not hold securely. So then we developed a porous ceramic chuck that can change the pore size from sub microns to several hundred microns. By drawing air from the microscopic pores the workpiece can be securely sealed onto the ceramic surface.
